You know when you come across an old home video from your childhood, and somehow, it takes you right back to that moment? Suddenly you remember what happened right before or after that clip, the smell of moms homemade food, and the feeling of that warm fireplace. That’s what we’ve seen wedding films do for our clients: take them right back to everything they experienced on the best day of their lives. While watching their films, we’ve heard clients say, “I didn’t even know that happened! I can’t believe we almost missed that!” For friends and family that couldn’t make it, it’s the next best thing being able to see, hear, and experience the magic of your wedding day.
C A N I C H O O S E T H E M U S I C F O R M Y W E D D I N G F I L M ?
Due to copyright licensing, we are more than willing to take suggestions but ideally you would never even notice the song(s) used in the film — it fits the narrative and supports it well. Giving us creative freedom is exactly what we need to be able to produce the film that you will be looking back on forever :-)
H O W M A N Y C A M E R A S W I L L T H E R E B E ?
Each of our packages include a second shooter, so there will be 2-3 camera’s on your wedding day.
D O Y O U R E C O R D A U D I O ? H O W ?
Yes, we believe sound is just as important as the visuals when it comes to filming your wedding day. We will use lavalier microphones, as well as tap into the sound board to ensure we get cripsy audio, as well as a backup. This applies to both ceremony / vows & reception. We know that words spoken on your wedding day are some of the most special and intimate moments and we always want to include them in your film. The package you choose determines what specific audio is included in your film.
D O Y O U T R A V E L ? W H A T ’ S T H E C O S T ?
Yes! We love to! We are located in the Seattle area, but love to travel both near and far!
To be able to travel & film, we require our couples to pay for the flight, hotel, and rental car in addition to the package price.
If traveling past 30 miles, we require the standard 58c/mi.
C A N I H A V E R A W F O O T A G E ?
For an additional $350, we can include a lightly edited (nearly uncut) film of the ceremony and toasts.
H O W D O Y O U D E L I V E R O U R F I L M ?
All films are delivered via online download.
C A N W E M E E T B E F O R E - H A N D ?
I encourage it and would love to! All of my questions are able to be answered though my questionnaire,
but I would love to get to know you two on a more personal level in order to make your personalities shine through your wedding film.
D O Y O U U S E C O N T R A C T S ?
Yes! This is to protect both parties and clarify exactly what is expected from the clients and what TALES Films will provide.
D O Y O U C H A R G E A D E P O S I T A F T E R B O O K I N G ?
Yes! To secure your booking for our services and save the date, we ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit for all of our wedding film services. The deposit is paid when the contract is signed, with the remaining balance to be paid in payments of 6 months, then one month prior your big day. Any late payments are subject to build interest.

All our films are different and take different amounts of time to produce — 3-5 months on average.

We work with you in selecting a package that best fits your day. If we are running behind schedule, you will be charged $50 by the half hour.
